Probation Pay – Explaining the Multi-Year Pay Deal approach
We promised to keep you updated on our pay reform discussions with HM Treasury and Cabinet Office, which are ongoing. Staff deserve to have confidence around pay, so the multi-year deal aims to respond to this and is intended to provide certainty over a fixed period. We are mindful that it is frustrating waiting for further detail, but please be assured that we are working to secure the best possible deal, and any award will be backdated to 1 April 2022.
