I will have stopped completing doorstep visits in September 2021. A new Home Visit policy Framework with expectations in relation to the consideration, completion and recording of home visits was communicated with me in October 2021. Home visits provide a valuable insight into the lives of my Person in Prison (PiP), whilst also supporting engagement and relationship building with my mixed and diverse caseload, and I will use the home visit to inform my risk assessment.
