UPW Operations Manager – National Fleet Replacement Strategy

In June, the new Unpaid Work (UPW) Fleet Strategy will be communicated to regions by the central UPW team, outlining resources available to me. This will enable me to build my projects accordingly and will be followed in December, with a Practical Guidance for Roles and Responsibilities of Fleet Management and Regions, where I will be invited to note any action necessary.

The Fleet model i am likely to be managing in the future will enable me to be flexible in transporting People on Probation (PoP) and the relevant equipment and tools to projects. I will need to ensure my team hold the appropriate licences required to operate the different vehicles. For the purpose of Management Information (MI), I will also monitor and report monthly on the mileage and Fleet usage.
