Review of the PQiP programme

This change of learning providers forms part of a wholesale review of PQiP being carried out by the Probation Workforce Programme (PWP) who are leading on the procurement of Community Justice Learning (CJL) contracts with universities. The review aims to achieve long term transformational change and ensure that the qualification is fit for purpose and equips learners with the skills and knowledge to become competent Probation Officers.

17 recommendations have been identified as part of the review and this work will continue over the next 18 months.

For further information on the review or the newly awarded contracts please contact Sarah Wilkie, Deborah Hulston or Lucy Lynch.
