Questions & answers

Yes, you will be provided with the Interviewer Training package, the Interview Scoring Guide and the online Interview Feedback Form two days before hand together with candidate details (including ID to verify) and meeting links.

Overview or time in lieu only applies for interview slots completed, not the training required to be eligible to take part in panel interviews.

Minimum Band 3 for Case Administrator panel interviews, or minimum Band 4 for PSO interviews.

Candidates will be asked to have their ID ready to show to you via the screen at the beginning of their interview.

If they have photo ID but not the other documents submitted then you can continue the interview but flag in the interview scoring form that they will need to have this verified at a later date.

If the candidate is unable to prove their identity, then you will need to inform them to contact the resourcing team to reschedule their interview for another day.

Your line manager must agree if you volunteer for times during your normal working hours.

Two days prior to the interview we will confirm the candidate details including any additional needs and how to manage requests for reasonable adjustments.

Cancellation should only happen under exceptional circumstances.  When we provide you with your candidate information, we will inform you who you can contact on the day by email and telephone if you are unable to interview. If one of the panel is unavailable, then where possible we have people on standby to assist to enable the interview to proceed.
