Travel for Persons on Probation

The Probation Instruction (PI) for Travel for Persons on Probation came into effect from 1 October 2021. Two guidance documents to support the consistent implementation of this PI are now available.

The documents provide information and advice in administering the PI, demonstrate how fares should be reimbursed, and outline lines of accountability and responsibility in making decisions about fare reimbursement. There is also information aimed at informing Persons on Probation of the criteria and process for fare reimbursement.
