Commissioned Rehabilitative Services refer to services commissioned from external providers, rather than delivered in house by the Probation Service.

We are the lead commissioner for most services and use the Dynamic Framework as a procurement and contract route.  Co commissioned services may use the Dynamic Framework or the other commissioner’s procurement and contract route.

​Enforceable sentence delivery services are only being commissioned nationally for Accommodation, Education, Training and Employment, Wellbeing and Women’s services for the first three to four years following Day 1, when replacement enforceable services will be commissioned regionally.  Any enforceable FBD or D&R services that regions choose to commission will be commissioned regionally rather than nationally.  Non enforceable services funded using the Regional Outcomes and Innovation Fund (ROIF) will be commissioned regionally; please read the ROIF Guide and see our full list of providers.
