Drivers of all vehicles are required to record details of each journey including mileage on the vehicle log sheet.

For the first week, speak to your Corporate Admin Hub, to pre-pay the charges for the above scenarios – they will receive a Purchase Request Form (PRF) to pay for this. They will need to know what vehicles you are using. Please note if there is an existing Probation Service GPC in circulation, this can also be used to pay for this.

This is managed locally via a Single Point of Contact (SPOC). Please speak with your regional contact for petty cash locations.

Incoming CRC staff who needed additional branded clothing replaced for Day 1 have been identified and orders have been processed.

If  you have not receive these items before Day 1, you will need to use your own clothing. Although, high-visibility (hi-vis) jackets should be worn at all times to differentiate People on Probation from Supervisors.

COVID Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is to be ordered via Business Strategy Change (BSC) Leads as per the Business As Usual (BAU) process. If  you do not have a specific PPE item on Day 1, you will need to use petty cash to purchase this.

If you have not received an ID badge by 24/25 June, please use your staff transfer letter or a letter from your manager, on Probation Service headed paper, stating that you work for the Probation Service and including contact details.

If there is an incident, please activate your LWD as per the process.

An S19 Standard Bus Permit for the 1+8 buses is not required as the vehicles are being operated on official business of the Crown. This applies to purchased and leased vehicles. If you have any further questions please email MoJTransportUnitBranston@justice.gov.uk
