There is one ‘Everyday Applications’ video training which is for all staff transferring to NPS systems. All other aspects of the training are for people that use nDelius and OASys regularly as part of your day to day role. There are specific videos for KSS and MTC who are new to nDelius and OASys.

You will complete the ‘Essential’ training at different times depending on which CRC you are coming from – your region/current employer will give you more information on when you should complete yours.  It is recommended that you complete the ‘Essential’  training before day one or just after day one.

Separate to this there’s also training that is designed as support over time for you to access when you need it and there is no urgency to complete this.

No, the self learning modules are designed so that you can dip in and out of them ‘On-Demand’ this means you can just use them as and when you need them.

  • The KSS and MTC specific video is mandatory and includes a knowledge check to identify understanding and extra support needs. This is for KSS and MTC CRCs only.
  • The completion of the ‘Risk Assessment & Quality at the NPS’ videos will be monitored and enforced regionally.
  • The ‘On-Demand’ optional training is not mandatory. These are software simulations modules designed so that you can dip in and out of them as and when you need them so are not essential.  Note from now until June we will keep adding to the software simulations available.

This depends on what parts of the training apply to you but it should take no longer than a few hours.

From a national IT Systems training perspective, the offer for transition is self-study. Regional approaches will vary so please speak to a contact in your current employer or region about this.

Yes you can create this yourself. When you click on the link for MyLearning, to the right hand side of the login you have 2 options depending on whether you’re an employee of MOJ or an approved partner organisation. If you’re MOJ, the likelihood is that you’re already set up based on SOP data.

For an approved partner organisation you have an option to Create New Account. Select this and then select ‘Users who are not directly employed by the Ministry of Justice’. You will complete a form with your details and select the approved partner organisation then select Create My New Account.

You can learn more about setting up a MyLearning account here.
