Your post transition learning
Learning will of course continue to take place now we are a unified Probation Service.
There are differing post transition learning pathways for different roles that outline what learning you will need to do in our unified service.
- Where you have completed this learning already and it is evidenced on your learning record, there will be no need to repeat it.
- For all staff involved in sentence management the learning will support you in your journey to working with a mixed caseload. For SPOs there is also an Assurance Checklist to assist and support SPOs in assessing a staff members’ readiness to move to a mixed caseload. It is not mandatory for SPOs to complete the checklist, but regions may choose to ask their SPOs to do so. Please use the following link to access the checklist: SPO Assurance Checklist.
