I may already be using the Prepare a Case for Sentence Tool if I am in an early adopter region of Greater Manchester, Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) and the North East. If this is not in my region yet, it will be rolled out as part of a national rollout timetable from May 2022 with all regions adopting the tool by July 2022. Developed based on colleague’s feedback, this system will draw data from both Libra and nDelius and will enable;  

• Quick identification of potential probation cases of interest
• Time saved identifying defendants known to probation and gathering case information such as offender manager details and current order information
• Significant reduction in the number of clicks, screens and systems I have to move between when preparing cases

Providing this information in a more accessible and usable format, I will be able to provide better advice to the court with less effort and minimise avoidable adjournments, supporting effective partnerships with the courts and speedier outcomes for victims.
