Learning for staff new to the Probation Service

Whether you joined the Probation Service as part of CRC transition in June 2021 or if you’ve recently taken a new role with us there is both core learning and learning specific to your role that you need to complete.

We value and recognise your skills and experience and so the learning we will ask you to undertake is focussed on what is essential, so you can get on with your day to day job.

New starters

If you’re new to the Probation Service take a look at our new starters induction pack.

IT systems learning

If you need help on how to use NDelius, OASys or any of the new SOP (HR) systems, there is support available here on the Welcome Hub.

Post transition learning (recently joined from the CRCs)

There are different learning pathways for different roles, outlining what learning needs to be completed over the coming weeks and months.   Regional Probation Learning Leads (formerly Divisional Training Managers) will provide further details on when and how the learning & development (L&D) transition plan is being implemented in your region.
